EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Stroller buddies
Toddlers (10 months to 35 months) and their caregivers will love this 6-week program designed to strengthen their attachment to one another while taking their first steps to connect and learn about nature. Options are Wednesdays or Saturdays for your adventure.
Friday Safari
Preschoolers (3 to 5 years) are welcome to this drop-off program. Each Friday for 13 weeks, preschoolers can explore the Zoo with our instructors and learn about the world around them through stories, observations, animal interactions, and play.
Thursday Safari
School-Aged learners (5 to 8 years) are welcome each Thursday to this drop-off program. Animal visits, observations, and stories will inspire exploration of concepts through art, STEM activities, active games, and conservation activities.
Wildlife heroes club
Children (3 to 8 years) and their parents will meet once a week for 6 weeks to forge a connection with nature and each other. Zoo habitat observations, close-up animal interactions, hands-on illustrative activities, and conservation-related take-home journals provide opportunities for young children and their adults to share family-based experiences that build environmental consciousness while collaborating with others who share their interests.
